What an amazing year! First the NFAA Outdoor Championship and now Fita Outdoor World Champion. Not to mention that you have won every other Field Shoot we have been to this year.
An amazing performance by an amazing shooter and a great guy.
Well Done!

Yes well done Dave. It was great watching guys like him shoot for a few days. I'm still disappointed that Clint didn't take it out and it was really just came down to a few mm difference between 1st and 4th place. There was so little seperating the top 5 shooters. Great to watch.

This guy is the Man, Hey Marcus did you see anything interesting or different while you were there.

Interesting:

Dave and Chris White don't use Limb savers
The Merlin Super Nova is gorgeous
Very few PSE's or Mathews bows
Heaps of UltraTecs
Everyone had almost identical form

Different

Swinging V-Bars are back
Jay Barrs can really hurl a AeroTec.
Sweden's barebow shooters are incredible shooters!!! :o :o

Did Barrs do an Adam and throw his bow? What the heck are swinging vbars?

Barrs had a brain fart and shot a 5 on the wrong target :o

Thing is he did the exact same thing a few years ago in Austria, and his team mates were teasing him about not doing it this time................and he did.

He was "Not Happy Jan" and cartwheeled the bow behind the grandstands.......not a good throw mind you, only about 15m.

See even the best have brain farts, and what was that rule of archery we had here..............when you shoot the wrong target at field it's always a 5...came true here

Would like to have caught Jay's javelin throw with my camera, but was not brave enough to ask him to repeat the effort.

Marcus,
Who was shooting the Super Nova you saw? Mine is silver with gold wheels and limb cups and is absolutely beautiful and shoots like a dream.

Don't know if you guys noticed but it would be interesting to know how many of the top 8 were shooting X-10's.

I regret to say that I did not look (should have, and normally would have). However, Leigh Cornish commented that most archers were using ACE's.

None

Just about everyone was shooting ACE's and a few shooting McKinneys. I think Roger Hoyle was shooting his Cheetahs

The Super Nova wasn't being shot by anyone, the Australian Dealer Aussiearcher had one in his car and showed it to Marcus. It was black fade blue with silver limb pockets

Noone I saw was shooting a Super Nova. Randell Wellings the distributor had one in his car and mentioned it so I asked to see it. Very nice bow.

I looked at arrows. About 90% of those I saw shot ACE's. I think all in the finals were ACE's. X10's are too heavy.
