I just went through the announced Aus team and found the sports with 6 or less team members. So when Archery is not on, we can find some other smaller sports to support!

We should all now go out and find out a bit more about these athletes and their sports so we can follow their progress.

I have a student who is a fencer, so I'm going to look into the fencing team. I also know very little about Badminton and Table Tennis teams.

Anyway - go Aussies, we won't forget the smaller teams!

BTW: David is Australian Olympic Team number 1 :)

Hahaha,

Frank Bartolillio in fencing should be good.

I had the wonderful chance of fencing against him years back in my highschool fencing career. Got my arse handed back to me in 4 minutes... out of a 9 minute bout.

He is an amazing fencer, especially since he is deaf (don't know to what degree, but he had technology aided devices and all the judges had to use hand signals) and damn quick.

Probably one of the youngest fencers to hit the international circuit from Australia.

Roy and H. G. had the best comment on sunkronised swimming. "Helloooo boys!"

Don't pick me up on the spelling. I made a typo and liked it better that way.

Surprisingly, the QLD weightlifter isn't too un-Lovely.

Both Robbo and 2Dogs should be interested in fencing, for varying reasons.

I loved the bit about Tim trying to make Mr Lee laugh with "a secret hand signal".
