Hi I have 2 questions

Yes Hoyt do own Reflex. They aren't a bad bow at all, My first bow was a Reflex Bighorn and I never had a bad word to say about it :D
If you take a closer look at Reflex ,I'm sure you will see that most of their bows are just older Hoyt models with Reflex on them

Not really older models, most are new designed handles made to a price point.
Basically with a Reflex you get the lower end Hoyt features. Solid limbs, not as complex limb pockets etc etc. However they still have Cam 1/2.
I've shot the Timberwolf and it's a nice shooting bow (wouldn't mind one in target colours for 3D ;) )
Good value bows with great features.

If you look at the Excursion bow you will see it is a Magnatec. The bow you refer to is new ,yes. It looks really cool too! :D My Bighorn was an ex Raider same riser

Not all you stuffed up Coach   The Grizzly is an adapted Magnatec/Ultramag and the Excursion is based on the Ultrasport riser. There is a slight difference in the limbs I believe giving them a slightly longer ata than the Hoyts. Apparently they are a great value. Most 05/06 models now feature the tec riser. The higher end bows are machined not cast and dont seem to have the annoying Hoyt 'pointy bits' :D
