I visited DVA today to inspect the possible areas for the Nationals Clout event.
Erika and Karina were shooting a FITA.
Erika: 1346 with the compound.
Karina: 1194 with the recurve (pb by 50 points, and pb at both 50M with 297 and 30M with 335).
Together with Erika's 287 indoors with the recurve during the week (and a 274 from Karina), this is very impressive indeed.
I suspect that pretty soon they will be getting very high scores indeed.
(I should also mention that Marcus was also shooting pretty well).

Not meaning to take anything away from the DVA ladies, but DVA seems a bit like a mutual admiration society. Where are you Flame? :D
I'm sure other Ladies elssewhere in Aussie must be doing something good too.
So what else is happening in WA, SA, QLD, NT, NSW,TAS. I'm sure there must be other Ladies we can admire, preferably with pictures

No, just a well structured club with excellent coaching and support, plenty of laughs and apparently even the occasional 'tool'. :o

We certainly hope there is Wombat. If you know of anyone who is excelling at the moment - let us know. Start a thread and share it with everyone - thats the idea of this place. Surely there's plenty of good archers where you are.

Well, sort of elsewhere, but still in Vic I'm afraid: Look for a serious compound ladies challenge coming out of Morrabin Archery Club over the next 12 months or so. Relative newbie with an 883 FITA 900 on Saturday...you can't fluke that sort of score 8)
(mike has more details I think)

Incredible shooting!
That's a rating of 109 which is equal to
Mens FITA: 1366
Ladies FITA: 1388

Owen, surely thats just an innocent oversight by our friend Wombat.
I find it interesting that the NT was mentioned before the ACT. Is there even an AA club in the NT? Never heard of any clubs or archers from up that way!
hey wombie I'm no lady :D
So much for the rumours then Flame  8)

There's a young lady by the name of Charmaine (hope that's spelt correctly) making some enquiries about getting a club going in NT. I only heard about it last week and I believe she's getting the club manual off the AA website as a starting point!

How do you know about this barracuda?
i can only assume that means there are no AA clubs in the NT.?
