Marcus

Unless you prestretch it it will move. It's faster, but you will find 452x more stable.

Should be fine on the Martin but on a high energy bow would break. ;)

BS, my strings are awesome! (you saw a rough one)
8125 will moveunless it's stretched in. SO if you make a string and wack it on your bow it will need time to settle in. :fist:

Crap :D....I can shoot 8125 shove it on, and away it goes.

Best thing about it is no getting fluffy like 452X and 8fps faster

Then again I use

It was never asked if he is shooting compound or recurve. 8125 for recurve. 452X for compound. That's my opinion only... :)
8125 will stretch - all of my recurve strings have but it doesn't make a great deal of difference to the string itself, just sight marks.

if you buy a winner's choice recurve string it won't stretch. Also try Power-strings.com

I like ultracam .
Settles in nicely and looks geed for a long time

Using 8125 past few months, great string does have some initial creep but settles down quickly. Nothing a few more twists cant fix. Was using fastflight but like this better seems smoother not as harsh. If using black give it a good burnish to remove some of the wax but also to avoid a big black mark on you nose. Been there done that.

Can 452 be used on recurves? Or is it too stiff for the limbs?
