I'm in the dog house, my wife (Wendy) is starting to complain that all the new equipment we buy is for me. I need to find a new lightweight high performance left hand recurve riser (possibly 23") to replace her WW Evolution, suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :microwave:

X factor is ridiculously light.

I think it's hard to look past the PSE X-Factor for a lightweight recurve

These look awesome in the flesh in the new colours and some huge scores are being shot with them. At my club Jason Goss shot 1269 with his today and Karina shot 1194 yesterday with hers. Jen Nicoles from teh US shot 1330 with one last week. It's only 2lb 5 oz and is one of the lightest recurves on the market.

Also the Hoyt Matrix is worth a look at 2lb 12oz

there was a thread somewhere where a URL with bow weights was listed....

But I can't seem to find that thread.

The PSE X-Factor weighs 1140 grams.
:P

Very light.

But, it is the riser I am planning to buy, because once you add everything else (Sight, Stabilizer with balanced weights mainly), it gets to a decent weight. But still not too heavy to shoot with.

Any views on the new Spigarelli Revolution, looks pretty weird but then she is keen on something that looks different. The other one she was looking at was the WW Expert, but they don't make it LH.

The X-Factor definitely looks different.
Not many bows with ILF have the bolt actually past the edge of the pocket...

The spigarelli revolution is rather new, so I'm not sure many people will have any details/reviews about it yet...?

the Hoyt GM is only 2 pound 9oz and was used very well by the Indian team at the Junior Worlds :D

I believe the thread that Flehrad referred to about riser weight table is http://sagittarius.student.utwente.nl/bb/viewtopic.php?t=621&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=riser+weight&start=15, you'll find an updated list on page 2. - John
