Gareth I just today recieved my cxls, (am fletching them as we speak I have not shot them as of yet but the numbers are most impressive, they are straighter than my aces and there is only one grain difference across the whole batch (12) they have a far smoother finish than any other all carbon arrow I have seen and a very clever vary weight point system, I am hoping to shoot them tomorrow, will let you know how they go, Cheers

I'm looking forward to sseing lots of great 3D arrows at Coffs Harbour soon...
Currently shooting Carbon Safaris (AKA Beman ICS, AKA Easton CarbonAeros) with ACC Hyperspeed points, gnocks, and unibushes. Good system, and 304gn at approx 28" nice and light. Durability is good also... :D
Hi Guys just my thoughts form the great white north.
CXL's are super straight, light very consistant on spine and wieght, but they are very frigale(sp). Most of the shooters that started with these have gone back to acc's cx selects or hyperspeeds/ace's.
hyper speed nibbs bend!!!! Love the point, but they they all bent in my shafts.
if your are using cx arrows, but a 3-60 unibushing in the back, with gnocks or use bieters. Pertects the shaft better IMHO. I don't mind the new cx nock though.
out my way most shooters are using acc's or cx selects.( very few with ace and hyperspeed)
average speed for the top shooters is in the range of 285-290. again very few in or above the 300 fps mark.
