Would anyone out there attending the Moorrabbin Shield tomorrow have a spare wrist-type release aid preferably with caliper.

I have today broken my little finger on my right hand playing social football with a bunch of 7-8 year olds. I cannot hold my hand held release with a splint on but I reckon I could get away with the wrist type, either that or remove the splint for the day.

Thanks
Pete

I have a cascade on a wrist strap.

Thanks Jim,

I don't know the cascade release at all, but if you don't need the last two fingers to operate it I would appreciate the opportunity to try it :D

Thanks again

Peter,

A great effort just getting through the day. Should be able to get a good article in the newsletter from that.

Hope all is better for the World Masters Games.

:D :D

I know I am not on my home ground here and this is supposed to be for members of Sherbrooke, but I just thought I would put my two bobs worth in here as well, I watched peter shooting and thought to myself "now thats a dedicated archer". I know you bent it the wrong way as well only once "you are a quick learner :D ) the look told all, from one of your fellow archers well done on shooting the day and I hope that all heals for the masters.

Dedication. Thats all I can say.

Good luck at the masters!

Thanks Guys for the nice words of encouragement, I like the sound of the word "dedicated" although probably not true.

The only other opinions I have heard are "just stupidity", "plain stubborness" and some other detrimental remark about "growing old gracefully". It is always great to get such words of loving support from your spouse.

Seriously though, you guys are setting some pretty high standards lately and that given this standard of competition I know that you too would (and do) take every opportunity to practice and improve. It a just a little setback.

Thanks again
Pete

Well done Reidy.............with my release aid. Does it mean that if you get a medal in the masters I can have a share in it? Just keep up with your shooting and you will get through.
