Started with to beauties of X.s in middle on two difficult foam lumps....
Third freaking animal (maybe 30m, 30 degree upphill) and I managed to miss it completely.... Kinda lost it.... and continued to missjudge dist worse than a partic ski jump judge on homeground......ad exp....
Guess should have blanked brain and started on fresh but was not prepared enough to be able to do this ( thought I was better)
Lesson learned ... mentally prepare to zero your brain if missing in comp.... :)

Missing in 3D is one of the most distressing things I've had in archery.
10 targets means that 1 miss in 10% of your score, GONE!
If I miss 2 in a row I get very discouraged and can often blow the round totally. I get desperate and loss focus. Miss 3 in and I may as well pack up.
This is getting less though as I get better at it. Remember that with a miss, can still shoot a 90. But agree, it's a killer that miss.

i managed a miss at the last 3d up at moonan and it really messes with your head.

when really you should be thinking hey ive not dropped a point yet so i can still shoot 90.
