Just wondering about a certain feature which I think is pretty cool that I found on another forum.

When you scroll down to the bottom of the forum index it tells you how may members, guests etc are logged on at any particular time, and also the record for the most members on at once.

I guess it's probably more usefull on very busy forums, but I think it's worthwhile nonetheless for when we really start getting busy :D

Is something like that possible here, I think it's pretty cool??

Thanks :D

you have to go and pick the hardest one don't you?
I'll look into it. Want a member count up though now that we are getting more members.

stay tuned, thanks for the feedback.

Hey, thanks for that :D

Sorry to pick a hard one :( I really don't know what's hard or easy - didn't do it on purpose :D I'll try to think of something that looks easy for next time :rolleyes

...you know where to see the feature I'm talking about though?

problem is stuff that looks easy often isn't, while stuff that looks hard is often easy.
My account reps do it all the time. "we just promised that you can make [insert outragous concept here] within a few weeks. Don't don't bang your head on the table again, you enjoy it, it's a [i]challenge"

This is what you want

Yeah, that's excellent, thanks for that. That was the feature that I was looking at, and the total threads etc is cool as well.

...hehehehe maybe I should become an account rep :D

Well I still have not added that feature you want, but have added a few more. I have built an extra DB to improve things and have returned the ratings system. There are a few moe things waiting to be cleaned up, that will come soon I hope.
Sorry about being offline today, really needd time to get it right.

FYI : I prefer Latest message first.
As the Post increase you will have to go through all the old Post to get to the latest.

But it is your site... you can do as you wish :)

You are damn right!! :D :D

Yeah this is a hard one because some like it one way and others prefer it another. :rolleyes
I'll build a system where people can choose for themselves. That's a good idea. Thanks Colin, I need feedback like this so I can hopefully get it 100% right.

Hey Marcus, just wondering if it would be possible to add a feature to allow the author to edit reviews?

I just posted a Bernadini sight review, and I said that the Sure Loc scope mounting block would easily fit. What I meant to say was that is could be easily be made to fit with a slight modification.

...of course I should have edited it more carefully before I submitted it :( but, something always seems to slip through.

I just don't want to be leading people astray with this incorrect information.

Thanks!

:D:(:D

yeah that's not hard, I'll get it knocked up in the next few weeks. Need that kind of feature anyway. Did you see the catagories now when you submit a review?

Yeah, thanks for that...I did see the categories, :D very cool.

Do you think there also should be an *other* category where the author can select *other* and write the category name in another field in case someone wants to review something which does not fit the current categories?

;)
