South QLD 3daaa finals are being held this weekend at our Ipswich club, All welcome for a two day shaft and rubber extravaganza. :o :o :D

I wish could go , sounds like a hoot up there. Unfortunately we are hosting the State ABA titles so I guess I better do the right thing and be at my home club, I hope all you guys heading up from Vic have a great time and kick some butt 0X

Man what a weekend, As the course setter I could not compete but I shot it for fun, Missed the crocodile by 5 yds, (so much for coursesetters advantage) some 70 odd people turned up for the two day event and most of them had so much fun they would not go home, they stayed on and shot and laughed until I had to throw them out so I could pull the targets in, Where were you Malynn, I thought you were coming, Youi better ring Adam and borrow one of his excuses. :lol: :lol:

No Adam says he won't shoot 3D because they only shoot 50 arrows in a weekend.........................it's more likely that he would be hopless at it, and wouldn't like losing :D

Paul how many targets do you shoot , how many rounds, arrows per target etc.

What for???? the 3D Nationals.............its the same format for most 3DAAA shoots.

It's usually 50 arrows...............5 x 10 targets. Max score per round 100.

5 rounds per event.

Scoring is 10 for a kill 8 wound 5 hit anywhere on the animal.

On Saturday shoot 3 rounds....Sunday 2

....and Robbo, did you say Jane Hones? That is an incredible coincedence if that is the 3DAAA membership secretary's name.

The ABA membership secretary's name is Jan Holmes...

Is this a coincedence, or did you just join ABA instead of 3DAAA?
