Sorry about the late notice, here are the details.
When
Starting Friday 18th of October, 8pm and running over 9 weeks with NO BYE WEEKS. Final date is 13th of December.
Where
DVA Indoor Range
Cost
$2. Visitors must pay an associate joining fee plus visitor rates.
Round
FITA 1 Indoor round. 60 arrows at 18m on a 3 spot 40cm FITA indoor face. There will be a break after the first 30 arrows. Juniors may shoot a 60cm face.
Rules
All compound shooters must shoot on 3 spot faces.
No single spot use except for recurve, barebow and juniors. No changing of face once league has started. Any disputes handled by organiser. Equipment shall not be changed if deemed giving an advantage. Scores deemed sandbagging will be ignored. 80% of rounds must be shot
Teams
A teams event shall be added with teams of 3 archers. Teams can not be changed after shooting starts. Winning team based on same handicap system.
Standings
Standings are updated after shooting online at http://comps.dva.asn.au and are usually up by the following morning.
Awards
Winner will be decided by a handicap system
based on percentage of shooter's average score. There is no breaking up of divisions. An award for highest single round shot will be awarded.
Presentation
Presentation during the DVA Xmas Party held at the DVA club grounds.
If you are from another club and wish to compete you may, however we will set up a seperate division for that, except in the teams event. Let me know ASAP if you want to shoot from outside DVA.
