How did you and Ray end up in the IFAA indoor today? He's shooting damn well and I think once he stops with that 4 he'll be really putting them in.
It's funny, he's got that massive 299 paranoia and so does Erika even thogh she's shot the same a a 300 45x in FITA indoor.

The Chunderbolt in coming along, if I can hold together through the shot I can drill it with ease, if anything goes wrong it puts em in the outter 4. If the UltraTec is as forgiving as the Mach 5 in that sence then by the time it arrives the Chunderbolt will have me shooting very well. Head still pounding, must leave computer screen . :(

Hey Marcus,

Yeah, I did OK today, 300 / 45x. I shot fairly well for most of the round, but I had a few shots where I really wasn't focusing very well at all and let my concentration lapse, so there is definitely some room for improvement. I just know I've got 50+x's in me, I just have to find them :D. I like the IFAA indoor round, it is a real challenge to hold that concentration level and shoot for x's instead of just shooting for 5's on that face over 60 arrows.

Ray shot a 299 with the x count in the high 40's. I agree about Ray, he is shooting very well, once he gets over the 299 stigma he will be hard to beat, he's consistently shooting 299 48-49x.

It's a shame about the Chunderbolt being so touchy. With a bow like that, you would think they'd be able to build a fair degree of forgiveness into it. Very few archers have perfect form all the time (I don't know anyone at all that does for that matter), so it's nice to be shooting a bow that will compensate for small lapses. Hopefully the Ultra Tec won't be too far away and you can get down to some serious shooting.

It's a funny thing about the comparison between the FITA indoor round and the IFAA round, so many of us shoot a certain score on one face, which would equate to a very nice score on the other, but the other face just doesn't seem to agree. It's a funny thing what the different faces/shapes and colours can do...:confused
