Has anyone had any thoughts about the subconcious? controlling the subconcious? I've been told to try the following from nocking the arrow to anchoring, keep your eyes closed and focus only on the yellow region of the target face. As you anchor, take a semi deep breath Open your eyes and adjust your aim Release...
It worked... but still I need consistency.

Now this isn't a rule or the only way to do it but, Try standing about 5 feet from the target draw up and aim, then shut your eyes and preform adduction of the rhomboid muscles, which will draw the right scapula toward the spinal column causing the release (back tension) to activate.
my coach said it takes on average 21 days for something to become routine (consecutive days)
try to do at least 50 arrows a day
dont open your eyes, because you will try and aim and control the shot
after 21 days test your self, aim at a target at around about 20 m and see if it happens all by it's self (the shot) or if you try and control when the shot happens,if you control the shot then you need more practise.
good luck
p.s this was based of compound with back tension release aid

I'm a bit lost as to how you focus on the yellow region of the target face with your eyes closed...
I've had lots of thoughts about controlling the subconscious; however a process like that has nothing to do with it. Your subconscious remembers things you've ingrained into it by repeat training; this is (at least one reason) why top archers shoot so many arrows.
The exact number required depends on the person; I suspect I need less to train a new habit than most people.
Just shoot arrows; once you've done enough frequently enough, you'd be surprised how different it feels. You don't have to think specifically about what you're doing any more, but you're aware of it nonetheless.

What I mean by focus on the yellow region is like being in the dark and seeing only the yellow.
Shooting repeatedly doesn't improve the subconcious... it builds reflex.

Hmmm...
If you did "reprogram" your "subconcious", would you even know...

Currently debugging it... Added the plug-in called Beiter clicker and the event called click is disturbing the subconcious routine calling a routine called "re-aim" and thus mess up the shot.
