During shooting today we came up with a couple of theories....

1. Practice is over-rated.

Unless you are shooting perfectly when you practice you are only reinforcing bad habits/techniques, therefore it is pointless.....and if you are perfect practice is unnecessary.

2. Performance enhancing activities should be banned

Training enhances performance and should therefore be officially banned. The Olympics should consist of 10,000 people randomly selected a week before the event, and put into randomly selected sports. Any records set this way would therefore give a true indication of natural talent....... :D

yeah.. good point, i wont goto archery untill the nationals.. then see how i go :wink:

I have been trying to think of some logical flaws in Clare's arguement, but cannot. Hence, I have decided it must be true.

I was thinking of something else...

Oh but wait... performance where?

Oh yeah... right...

OK... it's somewhat related to shooting, but not necessarily archery.
