ACE 470's For Sale

ACE 470's for sale, only 2.5 months old. 11 shafts in total. cut at 29.5 inches - shaft length with Easton G-Nock . Mostly unused as have not been able to get a tune with them unless I shoot a much higher poundage than anticipated even though I used a point weight much higher than recommended. 5 shafts have never been shot.

These are shafts only, no points or nocks. Currently have left-hand spin wings on them. But if buyer is right handed I will remove the fletching and clean the shafts before sale. Otherwise will leave fletching on and include remaining packet of spin wings.

12th shaft is 1/8th inch shorter at the back due to a near robinhood causing the g-nock to split the shaft. Split has been cut off and beiter overnock used to maintain shaft length with other shafts. Though only good for practice on blank bale or general practice. Can include this shaft at a negotiable price if wanted.

Yes, I live in Australia.

Sorry probably should have put that in the advert details and that the price is Aussie dollars negotiable.

Open to offers as I want to sell these shafts to go and then buy something that I can actually use. Basically going back to my original set of 520's with the Easton recommended 90 grain point/inserts. I shoot FITA recurve.

The shafts have only ever been shot into an Ex-Olympic target butt, no strammit or any other hard type target butt. So no wear, all are in as new condition and as mentioned, some have never been shot.

I have also decided to sell off the points as well. I first thought about keeping them for future use. But now can't see the point. They are 110 grain break off points. Open to reasonable offers here.

Then I'll be off to price up some new A/C/E 520's . Just a bummer I took the wrong advice with the 470's to start with.

I was told that because I wanted to shoot 110 grain points that I would have to go up in spine for the same poundage I was shooting. Not So. the only way I could get a tune (shooting aerotec with fx limbs 70") was to wind the bow up to around 47pounds. Just a tad too much over a long FITA when I usually only comfortably shoot at 42 pounds. Once I found that I had to shoot them at 47 to get them to fly properly I just packed them away. Hence only half got used, the others never even got to sit in the quiver. Basically after an afternoon of tuning I gave up and went back to the 520's instead. So the arrows have done no work at all really.
