I am trying to find out more information about my broadheads. I am shooting 3 blade 100g muzzy broadheads and have noticed that the broadheads shoot about 3-4" lower than my field tips at 20 yards. Why is this? The broadheads and field tips weigh the same amount.

But i am shooting from the same knock point with my field tips and broadheads so should't they shoot in the same place? Or do I still need to loawer my knock point and the will come closer together (the broadheads and field tips)?

Broadheads ? Some fly the same as field points.Others need some work.Try to group tune your target arrows.Mark the spot on your target. And shoot your muzzy, adjust your bow .You'll hit center soon enough.(telephone books stops broadheads for a short time).Good luck.In the long run i find that 2 blade broadheads will save ya money, stronger ,out penatrate. And always have razor sharp!! PS. If your broadheads fly well,Move your sights down a bit. F.O.C Should be better for hunting arrows at 10% to12%. My hunting arrows are at 12% F.O.C (forward of center). All the best.
Lots of broadheads don't fly the same as field points.
You have 2 options, 1. is to get a second set of sights for your broadheads
2. is to change broadheads to ones that will fly the same for you (Mechanicals work well).
Good luck :D
