Started on my challenge today.
Went for a 45 min walk in hilly and flat terrain :x.
I plan to do this at least 3 times a week.
Also keeping an eye on what I am eating, cutting out the fatty ****
though I don't generally have too much of that.
One thing I notice is that I pig out after tea when watching tv.
If I can cut that out or replace with something less sugary then
I that will go a long way to reducing my gut...
Plan is to drop around 10k before xmas.

sounds like a plan mr logan .
I plan or going hardcore for 3mths then plain out . Expect to loose between 15- 20 kgs in that time period . I will be supplementing with protein shakes , creatine , HMB , testostorone and a few other goodies i got locked up in the cupboard . ( all natural ) . Will be doing cardio first thing when i wake up ( burn fat not fuel ) 30 mins - 45mins followed by free weights on alternative days . Weights i plan on full body training for first 1mth the will worked 2 muscles a session . Diet ... well 6 small meals a day . Breaky : bowl of oats / cornflakes
9am : protein shake
12 : Chicken/tuna/ potatoe( or rice ) and salad .
3 pm : protein shake
6 pm : steak/ chicken/ tuna green vegeables(no carbs at night)
9pm : protein shake
Note will only eat fruit after cardio to replace carbs , probly 2 apples.
I have **** loads of supps left over thats why i'm takin them now . They are expensive and i wouldn't be bothering if i didn't have them .
This is whats work for me in the past , its very demanding , but it has fast results .

Thanks apexrob.
I was the one with Jason shooting on saturday arvo at the Grange.....
Yeah its a plan, I am going for something I can maintain that does not cost me an kidney to do, standard food, and simple exercises.
Today was not too bad, drank more water and had no beer, a few red wines but not beer.
You really are going the whole hog, how will you maintain this at the end.
I did WW and lost 14 kg last time and left at the end, within 3 years it was back with, and with a vengance.
That is why I am trying the lifestyle change now, something that can be built into my life at present.
Basically I think exercise has a lot to do with it. When I was on WW the times I most lost weight was when I did walking during the week.
Anyway good luck with yours and I will see you down at the club and check (and report :D ) how you are going..
Nobody seems to have put up photos.
Should we at least post our current weights and log what we are each week or when we hit a milestone (eg 5kg)..
just my thoughts after a few reds.....

That's the only way to do it.
Diets are just no good. The only way to do it is to have a long-term plan to change the way you eat and exercise forever ;)
Otherwise it'll stack right back on.
:D

Any weight you lose from your all-round stabilisation system will, however, decrease your chances of being a top Male Compounder. That, or you'd be going against a strong trend 8)

I'll join In with you guys , but I won't use scales I am going to go back on to my gutbusters program ,
I would not be to confident in putting my weight on here , those that know me know that I have a substantial stabilisation system
Good luck to all

What you have to do is decide what you want to eat then cut it in half so it is now half the size and has half the calories. Then because it has only half the calories you can eat twice as much. A sure fire way to lose weight works for me every time.

Thought I would dig this old fella up.
I upgraded the old scales and turns out they were 11 kgs UNDER reading. The day I stopped shooting arrows I was 105kgs(I put on 12kgs in the 12 months I shot again) on the scale I used above which is 116 on the new scales I got. Today I am 97.2kgs. Loss of 18.8 kegs. Word to your mother.
Anyone else doing good/bad/indiff?
In summary, PUT DOWN THE FORK.

Fad diets are terrible for you. It's probably healthier to stay fat a little longer if it means losing weight in a healthy manner.
