HI GUYS, I NEED SOME ADVICE PLEASE. I HAVE A 27 1/2" DRAW (STRING SLOT TO BOW PLUNGER) MY CURRENT TARGET RECURVE BOW IS A CHEAPIE WITH A 23" RISER AND LONG LIMBS TOTALING 68"". MY QUESTIONS ARE FIRSTLY: IS A 68" BOW THE CORRECT LENGTH FOR MY DRAW LENGTH AND SECONDLY IS MY COMBINATION OF SHORT RISER AND LONG LIMBS OPTIMUM. CAN ANYONE ELUDE TO THE OPTIMUM COMBINATION OF RISER AND LIMB LENGTH AND THEREFORE BOW LENGTH FOR MY SITUATION. ALSO FOLLOWING ON; MY CURRENT LIMBS ARE ONLY 30 LBS AND WITH THE ABOVE COMBINATION I CAN ONLY SHOOT OUT TO 60M AS THE SIGHT RETICLE SITS JUST ABOVE THE ARROW AND I DON'T HAVE THE CLEARANCE TO GET 70M ON MY SIGHT. AS I WILL BE SHOOTING MASTERS GRADE I'LL ONLY NEED TO SHOOT A MAXIMUM OF 70M IN COMPETITION. I AM THEREFORE THINKING OF UPGRADING MY POUNDAGE TO EITHER 32 OR 34 LBS BUT YOU CAN SEE MY DILEMMA IS WHERE TO START WITH BOW LENGTH ETC, CHEERS :archer:

I'm going to buy 2 bows, one for me (beginner who've been shooting for about 2 or 3 months only) and one for my girlfriend (beginner, shot only once or twice)

I'm trying to decide between the Greatree Goshawk and the Highlander for me and the Greatree Mohegan or Firefox for her.

The price is very similar, so which ones would you recommend?

We're not going to really hunt nor compet or anything, just have some fun!

Thanks!!

Hi guys, this is my 1st post (yay)
Anyways, my wife and I are eagerly awaiting to get into archery, more target and 3d shoots, hunting isn't on the menu as of yet, so we're looking at a few bows and can't really decide.
I thought I'd get some pointers off you guys, if that's ok :)
*For my wife we're looking at a Hoyt Rukkus, PSE Chaos One, or a Diamond Razor Edge...
*For myself I'm looking at a PSE Brute X or a Diamond Outlaw...
We both want consistant accuracy, and I know it's not that important... but I would like a fast bow.
Any ideas or even other suggestions would be great, we're lookin at around the $600 mark per bow, if it takes a bit more to get a solid performer that's fine, and I am aware of Diamond being Bowtech, I don't really want a handgranade, but I have read some great things about Diamond.
