    Skyart Arrows

Has anyone heard of or tried Skyart arrows, they seem to be made in Switzerland. Some of their Carbon Aluminium arrows look quite good but also fairy expensive.

Sold from an office in Switzerland but made in China. Rather important distinction.

That's not an aluminum-carbon shaft. Check what it says about those. (Hint: the answer is "nothing".)

Website is Swiss, CH is the ISO country code for it (Confoederatio Helvetica)

Their AC product is not Swiss in origin, in spite of heavy implication.

If I'm right, they do barreled aluminium-carbon arrows too. I thought Easton had the patent.

If they are near the price, or dearer than trusted quality Easton shafts, why change ?

From my experience with Chinese manufacture, cheap price is usually the motivating factor.

pretty much my point of view too. we all know Easton shafts perform to desired standard, unless the opposition is a lot cheaper (or you're an Easton conscientious objector for some reason) then where's the incentive to change?

Quality control in China is starting to get par if not superior to western world. That's why those who look for cheap manufacturing look elsewhere. Of course you get what you pay even there.

Just think of manfrotto tripods or optics from some big name swiss/german manufacturers, and you fairly often find "made in china" underneath.

Skyart are one of those brands that I'm happy to let anyone else do the research on. When you've got something as good as the Carbon Ones for the price they are, it's hard to feel motivated to bother experimenting with one's own money.
