    Vegas: A recent history

While driving recently I came up with the stupid idea of extracting the results from as many Vegas events as I can. I tracked down the previous 15 events and have put them into a database.
The reason for doing this was to see how good some of these guys are.
Here is the Top 12 Men Pros sorted by their average of points dropped.

As you can see, Chance is insane at this event.
14 trips to Vegas, and 12 900's shot in that period.

Levi and Jesse get to 67% of their shoot offs and drop around 0.45 points per Vegas, which is incredible, and still way off Chance.

Reo and Chance has won 3 each in this time period and Jesse 2. 7 people have won one each in that period.

After those three the most people to make the shootoff is shared by three people (6 each)
Michael Anderson and Dave Cousins (both won once) and Levi Morgan

Sergio Pagni made the shootoff 3 times on a 900, and won it with an 899 (go figure)

Hoping to get the womens division added to this and also get it onto a web application.

Look at that X count in 2013! Is that a record?

Some years had bad x count stats due to the results system, but I'll check that one. There was a year he smashed 30's like crazy. I think schloesser has an 87 year but missed the shootoff.

You start questioning the level of effort to improvement eventually.
Given the levels required to maintain that level of skill, how do you go about training to improve it..?

Looks like that year Ianseo counted the X's in the shootoff as Jesse shows as 90 but I'm 99% sure no one has gone clean on X's for 3 days.

One of the frustrations with Vegas is over the years the results have not been well presented. For example when it switched from NFAA's system to Ianseo we lost access to the individual round X counts, which really sucks.

After seeing this data this morning and looking at it for a bit, I sent Chance a message telling him what an amazing job he's done.
    He sent back:
Thanks man. It's a lot of work. It's really fun when everything is working great

The most dominant women is Mary Hamm (Zorn)
4 time winner and the best points dropped average at 2.89 which would rank her 147th in that stat in the Mens.

When we look at the all time list and its pretty tight with 6 women tied on 5 points dropped on average. (including an Aussie)
Of this list only 3 have won (Hamm, Lance and van Caspel)
Only once has the winner been determined by a shootoff in this time span.

Here are the points scored by those who have not missed a year (Chance is next but missed 2002)
    Interesting fact here
Logan has outscored Reo, but Reo has won twice.
The only ones not to score 900 on the list are women.
There have been 2362 300's shot in the two Pro classes in this time period (not including other divisions)

Is there a typo in 2004, or did she try out against the men?? 900 round, placed 12th.

Had a think and I would guess that it was a prize money issue. If she was competing in the NCAA at the time then she would be unable to win prize money.

    Web version is halfway done.
