Awesome! Besides the strength of the bow, I'm very impressed with the guys having the guts to pull the bow(s) back, let a lone shoot them, straight off the ashphalt - Hoyt must have a pretty good workers comp or something

Fun.
It certainly goes a long way towards overcoming any doubts re the carbon riser's ability to withstand out of the ordinary bizarre punishment.
I wonder how much damage would be done to an equivalent aluminium riser in those extreme tests ?
Generally modern ali risers seem to hold up OK with average use under normal conditions.

I'd be a bit wary buying an ex-demonstration model from Hoyt from now on though....

Does that mean that being run over by a truck will not void the warranty ???

wow, cool. Id be more worried about the strings being cut or cams being bent then the carbon bow exploding.

though mind you all my hoys have cope the occasinal accidental dry fire. and all of them have been fine afterwards. those hoyts are as tough as nails.

This is my favourite.

All done continuously in one take.

How often do you get a laugh out of product testing videos, particularly Archery?

How did someone at Hoyt decide to run a truck over the bow?

Its not the first thing that comes to mind for scientist or engineers who would consider these fun tests as standard data feedback.

The most awesome thing though is it speaks volumes to people of any calibre.

I didn't believe it till I watched those vids!
